Friday, April 9 at 2:00 pm ET
Presenters: Lou Zweier, Sonoma State University, Kiren Dosanjh Zucker, CSU Northridge, Tasha J. Souza, Humboldt State University & Tom Carey, Higher Education Quality Council of Ontario.
Faculty members are more likely to embrace possibilities and change their practice when they are able to see the practice in action. The ELIXR project has captured multimedia case stories wherein faculty members share their experiences using an innovative teaching strategy as well as the process of implementing it - both the why and the how of a change. This session will describe the value of using ELIXR case stories in faculty development as well as the ways to effectively use and evaluate them. Join us to discuss how multimedia case stories can strengthen our capability to meet diverse faculty needs and encourage more faculty members to embrace pedagogical change.
