Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching


Founded by Andrew Carnegie in 1905 and chartered in 1906 by an Act of Congress, the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching is an independent policy and research center. Through its current work, it seeks to revitalize more productive research and development in education toward the Triple Aims of Improvement: more active, engaging environments for student participation and personal growth, greater effectiveness overall in advancing student learning, and increased efficiency in the use of educational resources
