White House solicitation about
the government's role in making federally funded research available to the
public rekindles debate over open access.
Unlike with many critiques of
higher education, those who work at colleges and universities are likelier to
feel challenged than chastised by this one.
Report says black, Native
American and Hispanic students aren't taking AP classes they could succeed in,
but are failing the exams they do take at a higher rate.
