Campus Technology Webinar: Promoting Excellence: UCF's multi-pronged approach to student success with Tegrity

The University of Central Florida (UCF) is the 2nd largest public university in the nation and is expecting 58,698 total students in the Fall semester of 2012. There are nearly 500 integrated multimedia spaces standardized across 10 regional campuses. Each one includes state of the art equipment to maximize the student learning experience. And when the institution adopted lecture capture, some of those spaces were adapted to help ensure the success of lecture capture with their faculty and students.

Register for the webinar, Promoting Excellence: UCF's multi-pronged approach to student success with Tegrity, to learn how the university implemented a Faculty Development Program that addresses pedagogical issues in lecture capture, provides training for instructors using the platform, and serves as quality control for faculty recordings.

Topics covered will include:
  • The history of online classes at UCF
  • How classrooms were designed specifically for lecture capture use
  • The Faculty Development Program created for lecture capture users
  • Challenges and opportunities
Discover how as a result of these innovative efforts, UCF had 14,177 Tegrity lecture capture users last academic year—the largest of any institution in the country.
