Greetings!
On behalf of the Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) Team, we are inviting the Dillard Community to attend a session that complements our QEP, which focuses on enhancing students’ level of critical thinking. In addition to the multiple and diverse classroom experiences, this year’s theme, “What impact (social, political and economic) could the Presidential Election have on healthcare and gun control,” will be addressed via next week’s presentation.

Our own Dr. Julie Basu-Ray (Assistant Professor,
Department of Biology) has secured Dr. Walter Lane, Associate Professor and
Chair of Economics and Finance at UNO. His topic, “Health Reform and the
Election” will include a brief presentation, followed by Q&A.
Please join us on Friday, October 19, at 2:00pm in the
Georges Auditorium. All faculty (particularly QEP Faculty) are encouraged to
support this QEP initiative by bringing their classes. We ask that you click on
the attachment to print and post your own copy of the flier. Contact Dr.
Basu-Ray (jbasuray@dillard.edu/504.816.4924)
for details.
