Four Louisiana Students Named White House Interns for Spring Semester 2012

NEW ORLEANS – Four Louisiana students have been named White House interns for the spring semester, the administration announced Tuesday.

They are:
- Evan Casper-Futterman, of New York, a student in the School of Urban Planning and Regional Studies at the University of New Orleans;

- Nicholas Giles, of Houston, who is enrolled at the Southern University Law Center;

- Kevin Hagan, of New Orleans, a student at Dillard University;

- and Paige Nichols, of Baltimore, who is a student at LSU.
In all, only 200 or so interns are selected. They work in one of several White House departments, including the Office of the First Lady, the Office of the Vice President, White House Counsel, Chief of Staff and other agencies.
