DILLARD UNIVERSITY SUMMER SCHOOL 2012 STANDARD TIMES

This message is for Chairs, Program Coordinators, and Faculty who will be teaching during Summer School.

As you are aware, this year we will have one summer session that will consist of a four day week, over a five week period.

In order to comply with federal regulations, we must hold a minimum number of instructional hours, and in order to avoid class time conflicts, we must adhere to standard university times.

This summer, the standard university times for a three credit hour course that meets four days per week are as follows:

8:00am – 10:15am
10:30am – 12:45pm
1:00pm – 3:15pm
3:30pm – 5:45pm
6:00pm – 8:15pm

Please revise your course excel spread sheets for Summer Session, put in the correct times, and e-mail them back to Ms. England. She must have them before you leave for Spring Break.

If anyone has any issues with courses with more or less than three credit hours, e-mail me and I will share the proper calculation with you.

Thank you.
