With help from venture-backed company, Princeton, Penn and U. of Michigan announce they will become the latest high-profile universities to offer free, interactive courses to massive online audiences.


Claremont McKenna didn't just report inaccurate SAT averages; the college inflated class ranks and deflated admissions rates. The motive wasn't rankings, but a desire to admit a few more students without absolutely top academic credentials.


Problems with direct loan servicing have left borrowers trying to rehabilitate their loans in default for months and cost the government millions of dollars.
