Are textbooks a thing of the past?
A transition to digital content and
e-textbooks is undeniably taking place. It’s predicted that 44
percent of college textbooks will be digital by 2017. Florida is
taking K-12 textbooks completely digital by 2015. The Republic of
Korea wanted to be 100% digital but has stepped back from that based on
pilot projects that suggest a blended approach. This webinar will
investigate where schools and districts are in the shift to digital
content and will highlight the different facets of this transformation
including:
• Curriculum acquisition
• Key governmental policy measures
• Technology concerns
• Professional development tips
• Managing plagiarism and copyright
Join us on August 29th to hear from
districts and colleges that are adopting digital content in their
schools. They will share their perspective on the ways in which
this digital movement is changing education – both now and in the
future.
