OCLC: Shaping a New Future for Libraries Together through Technology

Shaping a New Future for Libraries Together through Technology

OCLC WorldShare™ National Symposium brought to you by LYRASIS and OCLC

Join LYRASIS and OCLC as we explore the power of cooperation and innovation at Webscale.

During this full-day event, Andrew K. Pace, OCLC Executive Director, Networked Library Services, will share how libraries worldwide benefit as they collaborate to create a shared future through OCLC WorldShare™.

Peter Murray of LYRASIS Technology Services will discuss decision support for new technology solutions, with a focus on how and why libraries are choosing Webscale solutions.

How often do you think, “If only I could do…” in terms of simplifying workflows, bringing greater visibility to your collections or in thinking of new ways to connect with patrons? This session will allow you to brainstorm and imagine new applications to meet those demands together with your colleagues and a panel of librarians who are already using tools like WorldShare to create change in their libraries and communities.

A continental breakfast and box lunch will be provided. This event will be held at the University of Maryland, Frances King Carey School of Law.
