The following information is being sent at the request of
Provost Phyllis W. Dawkins:
Colleagues,
Fair Dillard is at a cross-road and it is our responsibility
– as the engaged faculty that we are – to cement its legacy as one of the best
liberal arts colleges in the country. Many of you work tirelessly to craft
intellectually stimulating syllabi and classroom experiences that offer
students a dynamic experience. As Provost, I aspire to ensure that the
university provides the resources necessary to build upon your work, strengthen
Dillard’s brand as a small college whose graduates leave large footprints for
others to follow. With that in mind, the Center for Teaching, Learning And
Technology (CTLAT) writes to share details regarding next week’s Professional
Development workshops (as indicated on the university’s Academic Calendar).
Deans are asked to ensure maximum faculty attendance and participation. Faculty
are reminded to sign-in, as this will become a part of your portfolio regarding
scholarly service.
